Over time, Spears performed with various artists like Grande, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Lil Wayne. The D.J., drummer and producer, said in an Instagram post on Monday, “You’ve seen Aaron drum prolly 5-10 times in your life if you attend concerts & sometimes without knowing. That’s how much in demand his services were.”

Aaron Spears was born on October 26, 1976, in Washington, D.C. He grew up in the Pentecostal faith and got into drumming because of his connection with the church. In an interview on the German show Drumtalk, he mentioned that as a kid, he used to sit on someone’s lap in church, playing the top part while they worked the pedals.
