Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas Hit Red Carpet With Teen Kids
Family affair! Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas hit a red carpet in Jerusalem, Israel on Thursday, June 18, making a rare appearance with their two kids.
Though they usually keep their children out of the public eye, the two stars brought son Dylan, 14, and daughter Carys, 12, to the swanky affair at the Jerusalem Theatre.
Douglas, 70, was honored at the second annual Genesis Prize Awards with the ceremony’s namesake honor. The Behind the Candelabra actor’s family cheered him on as he accepted the award from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Following in the footsteps of 2014 honoree Michael Bloomberg, Douglas was celebrated for his public service, including his advocacy for human rights and gun control. The Oscar-winning actor told the Associated Press that he will be donating the $1 million prize to help the Jewish community and Israel work with the world “to better understand each other and to grow together.”

After separating briefly in 2013, Douglas and Zeta-Jones, 45, looked as happy as ever in Jerusalem. Zeta-Jones stood by Douglas in 2010 when he battled stage IV throat cancer, helping to nurse him back to health through chemo and radiation. The two actors started dating in the late 1990s and got engaged on Dec. 31, 1999.
They tied the knot in a glamorous New York City wedding in November 2000, and went on to welcome Dylan in August 2000 and Carys in April 2003. Douglas is also the father to Cameron Douglas, 36, whom he shares with first wife Diandra Luker.
