Frisco ISD Enrollment - New and Returning Students
Welcome to Frisco ISD!
You can use this site to find information about enrolling your student in one of our schools – no matter if he or she is new to our District or has previously attended an FISD school.
Frisco ISD serves students who live within the District's attendance zone in Frisco, Plano, McKinney and Little Elm. Your child’s permanent, primary residence must be in Frisco ISD to attend FISD Schools. Residence requires living in the district and having the present intention to remain there. Frisco ISD does not accept out-of-district transfers or fees to enroll out-of-district students.
Attendance Zones
Access attendance zone maps to see if your new address falls within the District's boundaries. This tool shows which school/s your address is zoned for in the upcoming school year. If your address falls near the District boundary, you may wish to contact us to verify attendance.
2023-24 Enrollment Note: Some campuses have reached enrollment capacity. New students who are zoned to closed campuses will enroll at a nearby partner campus within the district. Please see the 2023-24 School Year Zones web page for a complete listing of the closed campuses.
Not sure which school your student/s are zoned to attend? Search your address or check zones by map, street name or subdivision.
Proof of Residency
Frisco ISD requires families provide proof of residency each year in order to complete the enrollment and registration process. That’s because schools are assigned based on where a student lives. Learn about acceptable proof of residency and how you can submit it each year online.
