Kirill Kaprizov | Early Life, Family, and Education
The budding NHL superstar was born to Oleg Kaprizov and Natalya Kaprizov in Novokuznetsk, Russia. Growing up, Kirill was a very hyperactive child in his village.
His parents decided to divert this energy into something productive, looking at his nature.
Hence, his father took him along with his elder brother, Anton, to the ice rink to show ice hockey.

Despite the draft in 2015 at the age of 18, he continued to play for Metallurg. He then played for Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2016 and later joined CSKA Moscow (2017).
After his incredible seasons with Moscow, his NHL journey with Minnesota Wild finally began.
Kirill signed a two-year entry-level deal with the Wild and spent 2019-20 seasons as the first year of his contract without making his debut.
Subsequently, he made his NHL debut against Los Angeles Kings on January 14, 2021. Kirill scored three points on his debut, including the game-winning goal in overtime.
