Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford, legally known as John Matthew Stafford was born on February 7, 1988 at Tampa, Florida in the United States of America. The 34 year old American footballer has a height of 6ft3 inches (1.91m) and a weight of 220lb (100kg).
The Rams number 9 jersey started his career in football at Highland Park High School after his family relocated to Dallas, Texas. Stafford got a good name for himself as one of the best high school quarterbacks in the United States, Class of 2006. He helped his school team perfect 15-0 to win the UIL 4A Division I State Championship in 2005. He became the 2005 EA Sports National Player of the Year in 2005. He continued his education at University of Georgia. During his play in college football, he won the University of Georgia’s 2006 Offensive Newcomer of the Year Award, the MVP of the 2009 Capital One Bowl and lots of other awards and titles.
The Rams quarterback started his career as a professional footballer in 2009 after he was drafted by the Detroit Lion during the 2009 NFL draft as the 1st overall pick in round 1. He performed enormously well for his team till 2020. In 2021, he signed with Los Angeles Rams on a four year contract.
