On Thursday, November 30, 2023, the art world had to go through a distressing time when they learned that one of their most prominent curator and prolific writer, Vincent Honoré, had passed away unexpectedly.

The cause of Vincent Honoré’s death is nothing other than a mystery. The exact circumstances that surrounded his death are not shared. That day, in 2020, Vincent Honoré and I were in Paris to prepare an exhibition. We left the restaurant where we had lunch and met Jean-Luc Verna in the street. One of my many memories with Vincent, a long-time friend and collaborator, is my Head of exhibitions at MO.CO is one of the most brilliant curators of his generation. So long, my friend.
